Welcome to the Vail Soccer Club (VSC). Our vision is to bring an exceptional "culture" of soccer to the Vail Community. Let me be clear about what we mean. It is the dream of VSC that our community be "recognized" as a place where soccer is played, practiced, and enjoyed at the highest levels of appreciation and success. This will only come about as a result of individual commitment from all participants in the VSC program.

Players--VSC will challenge our soccer players to first---love the game! We expect each player to explore their fullest potential----we ask the players to come "prepared" to play.

Coaches--We believe our coaches are critical to our vision and desire to have licensed coaches throughout our program. Our coaches will "love the game" and want to bring out the best in players by training, performance, and spirited competition.

Referees--Soccer should be played according to the Laws of the Game. As such, our referees shall "love the game" and be vigilant about enforcement, yet desire ultimately to provide safety and an "invisibleness" that allows the game to be about the players. Also, our referees will provide a consistentness that seeks to contribute to individual player development.

Parents--We at VSC recognize the importance of parental involvement. The club encourages parents to attend any games and develop a "love of the game" while expressing their overall support for the participants. We expect parents to "know" the game so they reinforce the concepts delivered by VSC coaches and staff.

Club--VSC pledges to do our part in accomplishing our vision. We will provide the organization and structure necessary for the pursuit of "excellence". We endeavor to be a club of "distinction" and will take steps to convince our members of such.

As you can see, this vision requires a huge effort by all. But our community is up to the challenge. The support this club has already been provided by this community speaks volumes about our ability to see the vision as reality.
